This week we noticed some dark spots on our tomato leaves. This could be just sunburn since the plants are still babies and getting used to the outdoors. But it could also be fungi leaf diseases common to affect tomato plants, such as early blight (common in the east cost) or septoria leaf spots (common when the weather is cold and wet). Those usually show in the older leaves first and closer to the bottom (as the spores splash from the soil).
Does anyone see anything like this on their plants?
If that is the case, there are several organic options that we could use as a group effort to minimize and contain the problem.
Is anyone interested in an educational material on how to identify and treat tomato leaf diseases?
Here are some picture of our affect leaves.
